Professional Background John Tarkowsky, a
partner in the Mansfield, Ohio office, earned
his law degree from Ohio Northern University in 1978, having received
his Bachelor of Arts degree from Baldwin-Wallace College in 1975.
John is Board Certified in Workers' Compensation by the Ohio State
Bar Association. John regularly represents
state funded and self-insured employers
before the Industrial Commission of Ohio, State and Federal courts
and State and Federal Agencies. He has lectured extensively on the
subject of Workers' Compensation and employment law at the request of
the Ohio State Bar Association, the Bureau of Workers' Compensation,
the National Business Institute, numerous Chambers of Commerce,
private clients and employers. John is a member of the Richland County and Ohio State Bar Associations, the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys, and the International Law Society. Currently, he is licensed to practice in Ohio's State courts, the United States Tax Court, and the Federal Court for the Northern District of Ohio. |
