     Bob Fitzgerald was born in Europe and traveled extensively in his youth. He settled in Northwestern Ohio and received his Juris Doctorate in 1982 from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law, after earning his Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, from Ohio Northern University in 1979. Bob joined Baran, Piper, Tarkowsky, Fitzgerald, and Theis Co., L.P.A. in May 1985, as an associate and was named partner in November 1987. Currently, Bob represents governmental entities and corporations in litigation throughout Northwestern Ohio.

     Additionally, Bob is an active member of the Defense Research Institution, as well as The Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys, and the Insurance Law Committee of the Ohio State Bar Association. He resides in Lima, Ohio with his wife, where he is involved in local charity organizations.
